London's Bizarre Solution to Knife Crime
In London, knife crime has spiraled so far out of control that the city is now relying on a bizarre solution: “knife surrender boxes.”
These metal bins are scattered across the city — anonymous drop-off points where people are encouraged to turn in their knives and other stabbing implements.
The initiative is run by a charity called Word 4 Weapons, which claims it’s a nonviolent way to tackle rising knife violence.
It’s doubtful that any criminal is walking around London feeling guilty enough to surrender their weapon in a street-side box.
Instead of addressing crime seriously and protecting the standard of living for English taxpayers, the UK is allowing thousands of military-aged men to invade the country — and taxpayers are footing the bill for their housing, healthcare, and education.
It’s a perfect example of the upside-down world that is modern Europe.
